Our mission is to develop a museum to house and preserve collections of artifacts, tapes, photographs, and stories of historical importance to the Madison Valley and interpret them through display and education.

The MVHA Museum opened in May, 2010 at its new location 4 miles west of Ennis on the road (Montana 287) to Virginia City.  Admission to the MVHA is free, although donations are appreciated.  The MVHA Museum opens on Memorial Day Weekend and remains open until the end of September.  Hours are 12 noon to 4 pm, Tuesday through Saturday and 1 pm to 4 pm on Sunday.
